Employee Health / Occupational Medicine R.N. (Full Time) - 1502

Responsible for assuring quality medical care for employees.  Responsible for the development and administration of efficient and professional operations of occupational health services in accordance with company policies, practices, procedures, and applicable regulations to achieve desired goals and objectives.  Assists with all aspects of health services staffing competency, processes, customer services, and quality improvement.

Certification, Registration, or Licensure: Current Nevada Registered Nurse license.

Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Minimum Experience: Previous Employee/Occupational Health experience and a minimum of three years nursing experience required.

Medical Technologist (Per Diem) - 1495

Under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager, performs clinical testing in the following laboratory areas: blood bank, chemistry, serology, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, special chemistry, and microbiology, obtains or receives specimens, performs laboratory tests according to written procedures, understands methods and principles, performs and evaluates quality control on a daily basis.

Certification, Registration, or Licensure: Nevada certification as Clinical Laboratory Technologist or General Supervisor.  National certification in Medical Technology by ASCP or equivalent.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a biological science; American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) certification as a Medical Technologist or equivalency; and demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills are required.

Minimum Experience: Three years working experience as general medical technologist preferred.

Under general direction, performs and interprets preliminary, non-invasive cardiac studies; operates ultrasound equipment performing echocardiograms and Doppler investigations.

Certification, Registration, or Licensure:  Certification or registry eligible by American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) recognized program.   Current BLS certification.

Minimum Education: Graduate from an Cardiovascular program required.

Other:  Should have or develop expertise in all areas of imaging.  Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills required.  The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.  The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of life span growth and development and the ability to assess data regarding the patient’s status and provide care as described in the department’s policies and procedures manual.

Minimum Experience:  Previous physician practice management experience to include supervision of physicians and staff.  CPT and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding is highly preferred.  Previous experience with EHR required.  Must be able to serve as facility expert on EHR matters.
