Cardiopulmonary
At Desert View Hospital we provide treatment for asthma, emphysema, COPD, bronchitis, croup, and pneumonia with a physician's order.
We provide equipment for intensive and emergency care to assist and or control breathing. We also provide educational material for common respiratory diseases and smoking cessation.
The Cardiopulmonary Staff are licensed as Respiratory Care Practitioners by the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners.
We are also credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care, and certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP.
Our caring Cardiopulmonary Staff is available 24 hours a day.
Outpatient testing available Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
In addition to providing Cardiopulmonary care to our patients, some of the tests we perform are:
- Complete Pulmonary Function Studies (Breathing Tests)
- EKG (Electrocardiograms) — Electrical Function of the Heart
- Holter monitor
- Cardiac Stress Test
- ABG (Arterial Blood Test)
